The Federal Government has given the green light for the construction of an airstrip at Canaanland, the headquarters of Living Faith Church in Ota, Ogun State, according to Bishop David Oyedepo. The airstrip, once completed, will provide a direct transportation link for the church’s leadership, members, and guests, making it easier to travel in and out of the vast worship center.
Bishop Oyedepo, while announcing this development during a church service, expressed his excitement about the convenience it will bring to his travels. “I won’t need to fly a helicopter to the airport anymore; I can go from here to anywhere I’m going,” he said, underscoring the ease the new facility will offer. Canaanland, already known for its extensive infrastructure, including the Covenant University and the iconic 50,000-seat Faith Tabernacle, is set to become even more accessible with the airstrip, further cementing its status as a key hub for religious, educational, and international activities in Nigeria.
