The political associates of the former vice president and 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar have called for the expulsion of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike.
The FCT minister had earlier called for the expulsion of the former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar and former Sokoto state governor, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwwal.
The Director of Research, Strategy and Documentation of the Peoples Democratic Party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki while addressing journalists in Abuja or Monday said Wike’s expulsion is a must for the survival of the party.
He noted that Wike’s insubordination, anti-party activities and disruption of the party’s structure in creating G-5 governor’s forum was enough to warrant a sack.
Obaseki said: “Wike was (/is) the problem of the PDP and to expel Wike now is a task that must be done by the PDP.”
“Wike is the one who created a cult within the party and called it the G-5. Against the will, constitution and structures of the party, he campaigned against the party.
“If anybody had done anything anti-party, it is Nyesom Wike. He has fought every known person within the party.
He noted that the party will not back down from legally reclaiming their stolen mandate, because Nigerians deserve the best representation.
