Charlie Strutton, a former AFC Wimbledon footballer, has passed away at the young age of 34.
The striker’s last game was played for non-league team Chalfont St Peter, where he began his career and ended his playing days in 2016.
Strutton also played for Maidenhead, Braintree, Aldershot, Hayes & Yeading, and Slough Town throughout his career.
AFC Wimbledon released a touching statement expressing their condolences to Charlie’s family and friends, stating that they are deeply saddened to hear of the former player’s passing.
Chalfont St Peter’s chairman, Denis Mair, also added that he was devastated to hear the news and that Charlie’s passing leaves a void at the club.
