In a thrilling match, Newcastle United emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Fulham, who were reduced to 10 players after striker Raul Jimenez was sent off in the 22nd minute.
The 17-year-old Lewis Miley scored his first professional goal for the Magpies, which helped them secure the much-needed victory.
Fulham, who were riding high on back-to-back 5-0 wins, were brought back to earth by Jimenez’s red card.
He was shown a straight red card for jumping into Sean Longstaff, leaving his team a man down for the majority of the game.

Newcastle had a few chances to score in the first half, with Anthony Gordon hitting the crossbar, but they were unable to convert them.
However, Newcastle dealt with two more injuries in the first half, with Fabian Schar and Joelinton forced off due to muscle strains.
In the second half, Newcastle came out all guns blazing, and substitute Miley scored his first goal for the club with a well-taken finish.
This opened the floodgates, and Miguel Almiron and Dan Burn also found the net, thus securing a comfortable victory for the Magpies.
The win came as a relief for Newcastle, who had suffered back-to-back league defeats before this match.
