The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has assured the public that its official X account is secure and has not been compromised.
In a statement released today, the anti-graft agency clarified that the recent changes observed on their account are part of an ongoing upgrade process.
The EFCC emphasized that these upgrades are aimed at enhancing the account’s security features and improving user engagement. The commission urged the public to disregard any rumors or misinformation suggesting that the account had been hacked.

“We want to assure all our followers and the general public that our X account is not hacked. We are currently upgrading it to serve you better,” the statement read.
The EFCC remains committed to its mission of fighting corruption and financial crimes and will continue to use its X account as a key platform for communication and updates.
