Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have apprehended 117 suspected internet fraudsters in a major sting operation at the Regional Hotel in Iyana-Ishasi, Lagos.
The arrests were made based on verified intelligence regarding the suspects’ alleged involvement in computer-related fraud. During the operation, the EFCC recovered mobile phones, laptop computers, and four cars from the suspects.

The EFCC has stated that the suspects will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
