…Unveils Special Festive Offer for Consumers
In a move to ease financial pressure on Nigerians during the festive season, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre. This development, announced on Wednesday, provides significant relief as transport and fuel costs peak during the holidays.
A Holiday Gift for Nigerians
The Dangote Group had earlier reduced the PMS price to N970 per litre on November 24 but has further cut it to below N900. This gesture is aimed at reducing the cost of living for Nigerians during the holidays.
To sweeten the deal, the refinery has introduced a unique offer allowing consumers to purchase an extra litre of PMS on credit for every litre bought with cash. This offer is backed by guarantees from Access Bank, First Bank, and Zenith Bank.
Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, stated:
“We understand the strain of transportation costs during this festive period. To support Nigerians, Dangote Refinery is offering PMS at N899.50 per litre starting today. Additionally, for every litre purchased on a cash basis, customers can buy another litre on credit, secured by a bank guarantee.”
Commitment to Quality and Sustainability
Chiejina also reiterated the refinery’s commitment to delivering premium, competitively priced fuel products that are environmentally friendly and compatible with modern engines. He noted that Dangote Refinery is playing a pivotal role in eliminating Nigeria’s reliance on low-quality imported fuels, which often harm health, engines, and the environment.

Nigeria’s Largest Refinery at Work
As Africa’s first privately-owned oil refinery and the largest single-train refinery globally, the Dangote Refinery has a processing capacity of 650,000 barrels per day (BPD). It is fully equipped to meet Nigeria’s refined petroleum needs, with surplus products available for export.
This bold move by Dangote Petroleum Refinery underscores its commitment to alleviating Nigerians’ economic burdens and fostering sustainable development during the holiday season and beyond.
