President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a management team for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The approval followed the appointment of the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on June 19 and the retirement of some management members in the Service.
The new management team include Deputy Comptroller Generals (DCGs) and Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACGs): DCG FO Okun; DCG MBA Musa; DCG A Hamisu; ACG K Olumoh; ACG AB Mohammed; and ACG A Alajogun.

NCS’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, a Chief Superintendent of Custom, announced this in a statement on Thursday.
While thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, the Acting CGC, Adeniyi congratulated the newly appointed Officers.
He charged them to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.
