The crescent moon, which marks the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, was not observed in Saudi Arabia.
According to an announcement by the Haramain on its official platform, previously known as Twitter, on Monday, this indicates that the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr will take place on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

“As the crescent moon was not sighted in Saudi Arabia, Eid Al Fitr will be observed on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.”
In a separate tweet, the observer of the crescent Abdullah Al-Khudairi says, “It’s difficult to sight the Shawwal crescent due to the clouds.”
