A Federal High Court in Abuja has set bail at ₦100 million each for a former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, his daughter, and two others, with two sureties required.
They are on trial for an alleged ₦2.7 billion fraud. The court stipulates that the sureties must own property in Abuja and be responsible citizens.
They are also required to submit an affidavit of means. Additionally, the defendants are barred from international travel without court approval. Justice Oriji has decreed that failure to fulfill bail conditions will result in remand in prison custody.
