The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, will be hosting an international press conference Thursday, October 5.
The party director of strategic communications of the presidential campaign council, Dele Momodu made the announcement on his official X on Wednesday night.
Momodu wrote: “He, Atiku Abubakar will host an international press conference tomorrow, 5th October 2023.
“It will be streamed on his social media platforms and be covered live by both the local and international media networks.”
CRUX NEWS reports that Atiku is challenging the victory of President Bola Tinubu during the February 25, 2023 general election and the affirmation of Tinubu’s victory by the Presidential election petition tribunal on September 6.
Abubakar continues to allege that Tinubu’s academic records are fraught with discrepancies and forgeries.
His request for the US court for the northern district of Illinois to compel Chicago State University (CSU) to release Tinubu’s academic records has since been granted and the records are now in the public domain.
