Paris Saint-Germain managed to secure their place in the Champions League last 16 after a nerve-wracking 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
The match held significant importance for PSG as they were in danger of getting knocked out of the tournament in the group stages for the first time since the Qatari takeover in 2011.
However, they were able to turn things around and came back from a goal down to earn the point that sent them through as Group F runners-up.
Meanwhile, in the group’s other game, Newcastle suffered a defeat to AC Milan.
As a result, Dortmund secured the top spot in the group, while Milan finished third, behind PSG on a head-to-head goal difference.

Newcastle finished at the bottom of the group, failing to progress to the next stage of the tournament.
With the final round of group games completed, the qualified teams for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday were determined.
PSG’s hard-fought draw ensured they progressed to the knockout stages, joining the likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, among others.
