Ngozi Ezeonu was born on May 23, 1965, in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, to D.O. Ikpelue and Ezenwanyi Joy Nonyelum. She grew up in a family of six, alongside five siblings. A native of Ogbunike in the Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Ngozi is proudly Igbo.
Education and Early Career
Ngozi completed her primary and secondary education in Owerri before beginning her career as a hairstylist in a local beauty salon. Her passion for media led her to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), where she earned a diploma in journalism. Shortly after, she began her journalism career, working as a radio anchor at Radio Lagos before moving to EKO FM.
