We report a devastating event that took place at the residence of Caleb Farley, a professional football defensive back hailing from North Carolina.

The multi-million dollar property, which Farley had recently purchased, was levelled by a massive explosion that took place overnight on Monday in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The explosion left one person dead and another injured.
The Iredell County Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the matter, and the focus of the probe is centred around the home’s natural gas lines.
The deceased person was identified as Farley’s father, Robert Matthews Farley, who was 61 years old.
One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear whether Farley was in the house when the explosion occurred.

However, the 24-year-old Tennessee Titans cornerback was seen at the site on Tuesday morning, cooperating with authorities.
Farley is currently on the Titans’ physically-unable-to-perform list due to a back injury, and he has played sparingly since the team selected him with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, appearing in just 12 total games over the past two seasons.
