In an impressive display of skill and precision, Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to a resounding 7-0 victory over Bochum on Saturday.
The Englishman’s first hat-trick for his new team not only secured the win but also set a new Bundesliga record.
According to the football statistics platform, Squawka, Kane is the first player to be directly involved in 10 goals in his first five Bundesliga appearances.
Since joining the champions in the summer, the former Tottenham Hotspur player has already scored seven goals and provided three assists in just five games, with his scoring streak extending to his last three games for the Bavarians.
Kane’s contributions to Bayern’s victory were significant, with goals in the 13th minute, a penalty in the second half, and a tap-in from a low cross by Leroy Sane in the final moments of the game.
With six goals in five games, the English captain now holds the record for the most goals in his first five league matches for Bayern, surpassing the likes of Gerd Mueller, Miroslav Klose, and Mario Mandzukic.

Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel was pleased with his team’s performance, describing the win as a “fantastic day at the office.”
Other players who scored during the game included Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Matthijs de Ligt, Leroy Sane, and Mathys Tel.
The win took Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga table, with 13 points from five games played so far.
It was also their second clean sheet of the season, after conceding two goals in their previous home game against Manchester United in the Champions League.
