President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered the resignation of Mamman Ahmadu from his role as the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
This decision is part of a broader initiative to enhance efficiency and transparency within the public procurement system.
In a statement released by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, it was detailed that the move is aimed at repositioning the BPP for better performance.

“The Director-General is to hand over to the most senior officer in the Bureau, pending the appointment of a new Director-General,” Ngelale announced.
