President Bola Tinubu has announced the establishment of the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development. This announcement was made on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Presidential Committee on Livestock Reforms held at the Council Chamber in the State House, Abuja.
The newly created committee will be chaired by President Tinubu, with former chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Attahiru Jega, serving as the Deputy Chairman.

The committee’s primary objective is to propose recommendations that will foster peaceful co-existence between herders and farmers while ensuring the security and economic well-being of all Nigerians.
