The Spanish football federation has postponed Real Madrid’s away game against Valencia, originally scheduled for this weekend, due to severe and deadly flooding in eastern Spain.
Villarreal’s home match against Rayo Vallecano has also been suspended, following reports of catastrophic flooding that has claimed at least 95 lives.
The intense flash floods have significantly impacted the region, making travel and match arrangements unsafe. Authorities continue to assess the situation as emergency teams work to provide relief and prevent further loss.
