The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has officially banned the skincare product Caro White in Nigeria.
This decision comes after extensive investigations and assessments conducted by NAFDAC, which found that Caro White contains harmful substances detrimental to public health.
The ban is part of NAFDAC’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers in Nigeria by regulating the use of cosmetics and skincare products.
NAFDAC urges the public to discontinue the use of Caro White immediately and to report any adverse effects experienced from its use to the agency.

Retailers and distributors are also advised to remove the product from their shelves and cease all sales to comply with the new regulation.
