The highly anticipated undisputed heavyweight world title fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury has been a hot topic among boxing fans across the world.
The Ukrainian fighter holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO belts, while Fury is the WBC champion.
Though contracts were signed back in September for a December 23rd fight in Riyadh, it is now expected to be postponed until next year, possibly February, due to Fury’s recent injury following a non-title bout against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
Usyk, who is currently training in Valencia, Spain, expressed his hopes that the bout would take place in Saudi Arabia in February.

He stated that he is not worried about the delay and will instead focus on technical work to improve his performance.
Usyk further revealed that he drew his inspiration from his late father and boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
In an interview with Reuters, Usyk spoke about his patriotism towards his country and the influence of his father in his life.
He also revealed that he thinks about his team and family rather than his opponent, Fury.
Usyk is eager to take on Fury and become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999.
