The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu, has attributed her appointment as a minister to a prayer she made at Shiloh 2022, an annual event by the Living Faith Church.
Recounting her experience during the six-day program, Edu mentions that the Presiding Bishop, David Oyedepo, prayed for her desire to become a minister in Nigeria.
She recalled whispering her prayer request to Bishop Oyedepo, expressing the wish to return for Shiloh 2023 as a federal minister.
Edu, one of the youngest ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, acknowledges that her appointment is a manifestation of her prayer at Shiloh.
