On Monday, in Akure, the Ondo State Football Association inaugurated a 10-man committee for the second edition of Bet9ja Ondo State Football League, which is open to all amateur soccer clubs in the state.
The committee will be responsible for organizing a befitting competition for the clubs that will participate across the state.
The previous committee in charge of the maiden edition was commended by Mr Dele Ajayi, Chairman of the Ondo State Football Association, for their outstanding performance. Their success earned the state approval for the second edition of the league.
Mr Ajayi emphasized that the development of Ondo State football is paramount and urged the committee to do a better job for posterity.

He expressed his desire to see the 69 clubs from the state that participated in the maiden edition leave even happier and more fulfilled this time around.
Yomi Seriki retained his position as Chairman of the committee, while Sunday Aladenika remained the Chief Operating Officer.
Other members of the committee include Charles Ogunyanmodi, Wole Ademoyegun, Henry Akingboju, Gabriel Aborowa, Bola Ajayi, Ibukun Adetoyinbo, Segun Giwa, and Akintomide Akintoye, who serves as the Secretary of the committee.
Mr. Yomi Seriki, Chairman of the Bet9ja Football League Committee, expressed his gratitude to the state, which was one of the standout performers in the last edition.
He promised to do his best to ensure that the FA board and state are not let down this year as well. In the maiden edition, Zion Warriors from Ondo emerged as the winners of the league.
