The Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello,
has congratulated the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars reality show, Ilebaye Odiniya.
CRUX NEWS reports that Ilebaye on Sunday night emerged the winner of the N120 million grand prize of the season 8 edition of the show.
Reacting to the development in a statement on Monday, Yahaya Bello described Ilebaye as the pride of Kogi and a true trendsetter.
“I am delighted to congratulate Ilebaye Odiniya, one of our own in Kogi for emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars Season reality television show.
“Ilebaye, you are a trendsetter and Kogi’s pride, who has excelled in both academic and social spheres.
“This victory is a testament to your brilliance, intellect and maturity. Your determination, resilience, and poise set you apart during the three months you spent in the house.”
The governor further referred to Ilebaye as the “face of a positive revolution in the history of African entertainment”.
