Barcelona secured a 2-0 victory over Osasuna in a Spanish Super Cup semi-final held in Saudi Arabia on Thursday.
Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal scored in the second half of the match to secure a place in the showpiece event against their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, on Sunday.
The El Clasico final will be a repeat of last year’s edition, which Barcelona won 3-1.
In the first half of the game, Barcelona dominated possession but struggled to create any significant chances.
They were unable to break through the solid defence set up by their opponents.
Although Lewandowski had a couple of half-chances, he was denied by the confident Osasuna goalkeeper, Sergio Herrera.
It was not until the 59th minute that Barcelona finally managed to find the back of the net.
Ilkay Gundogan played a through-ball to Lewandowski, who scored from close range.
The Osasuna players complained to the referee that Andreas Christensen had committed a foul on Jose Arnaiz before the counter-attack, but a VAR check confirmed the goal.

Osasuna manager Jagoba Arrasate expressed his disappointment with the refereeing criteria and felt that his team had been wronged.
However, Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez said that he did not believe the referee was decisive in determining the outcome of the match.
After Lewandowski’s goal, Xavi brought Joao Felix off the bench, who added impetus to Barcelona’s attack.
He forced goalkeeper Herrera to make a couple of fine saves to keep Osasuna alive.
Joao Felix then created a quick counter and provided the assist to Yamal, who blasted the ball low into the net to seal the victory for Barcelona.
Xavi expressed his excitement about the upcoming El Clasico final and stressed that his team would not take their opponents lightly.
He acknowledged that there are no favourites in an El Clasico and hoped that the final would go their way, just like last year.
