Bandits have killed nine people and abducted 35 others in Kwasam community, Kauru LGA, and Gwada community in Igabi LGA of Kaduna State.
Among the abducted are a retired CBN Director, his brother, and the brother’s wife.
The attacks occurred around 10 pm, with the bandits injuring nine people in total.
Governor Uba Sani has called for aggressive military operations against bandits and sent condolences to affected families.
The Governor, represented by Samuel Aruwan, conducted an on-the-spot assessment of the security situation in the affected areas, accompanied by military commanders and security forces.
Troops are currently carrying out operations in the locations affected by the attacks.
