Bandits who abducted seven residents of Kuduru, a neighboring community in Bwari Area Council, Abuja, have demanded a ransom of N290 million for their release.
The victims, which include a pregnant woman and three children, have been in captivity for over a month after being abducted at Kuduru Extension.
The bandits have reportedly threatened to kill two of the victims if the ransom is not paid on time.

In addition to the cash, the abductors also demanded food items, drugs, bed sheets, and cardigans.
The community leader has appealed to the Inspector-General of Police and the Chief of Army Staff to come to the rescue of the hostages.
