Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Abdullahi was on Tuesday sacked by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
In removing Abdullahi who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the court ruled that Sa’ad Ibrahim (Turakin-Opanda) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was the rightful winner state constituency seat.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Abdullahi as the winner of the Umaisha/Ugya State Constituency in the March 18 state assembly election.
