Nollywood actress Anita Joseph-Olagunju has come to Davido’s defense following criticism directed at the singer for his remarks about Nigeria.

“If Davido had said Nigeria is good, you all would have said it’s because he is rich,” she remarked in a social media post.
Her comments come after Davido faced online scrutiny for his perceived views on Nigeria, with many claiming that celebrities like him live in a bubble, far removed from the challenges faced by everyday citizens.
Anita Joseph emphasized the unfairness of holding celebrities to impossible standards, adding that Nigerians should focus on addressing systemic issues rather than projecting frustrations onto public figures.
