Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has issued a stern ultimatum to internet personality Bobrisky, demanding an apology and retraction of a defamatory statement made against him. According to Falz, Bobrisky falsely claimed that the rapper sought a presidential pardon with a ₦10 million bribe. Falz, known for his outspoken political activism, took to social media to address the issue, giving Bobrisky a 12-hour window to issue a public apology or face legal consequences.
The controversy began when Bobrisky reportedly alleged that Falz had attempted to secure a presidential pardon by offering ₦10 million, sparking widespread debate among fans and the media. Falz, however, vehemently denied the claim, calling it baseless and damaging to his reputation.
In a formal statement, Falz said, “I am not one to engage in baseless back-and-forth, but this is beyond ridiculous. I have never sought, nor would I ever seek, a presidential pardon, let alone offer any bribe. Bobrisky has 12 hours to issue a public apology and retract the defamatory statements or face the full force of legal action.”
