The Senate President, Mr. Godswill Akpabio, has extended his congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on his 72nd birthday, lauding him as a leader of transformation.
In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Eseme Eyiboh, on Friday in Abuja, Akpabio also hailed Tinubu as a democrat focused on development and a unifier.
Akpabio stated, “As a leader of transformation, His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, has always been at the forefront.
“His tenure as the Governor of Lagos State and his ongoing role as the Commander-in-Chief and President of Nigeria are testament to his developmental achievements.
“As a democrat committed to development, he has shown an extraordinary dedication to laying a solid foundation for democracy in Nigeria over the years.
“As a unifier, he stands as the most influential mobilizer of people in modern Nigeria and the politician with the most extensive political network.
“On this day as you celebrate your 72nd year, I, together with my family, the esteemed people of my Senatorial district in Akwa Ibom, and indeed, the National Assembly, wish you robust health and many more years of prosperity.
“May God grant you the fortitude and insight to reshape and advance Nigeria for the present and future generations.”
President Tinubu has declared that he will forego birthday celebrations this year out of respect for the nation’s current challenges.
