Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday declared the Edo Central Senatorial seat vacant following Senator Monday Okpebholo’s election as Governor of Edo State. Akpabio directed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct elections promptly to ensure continued representation for Edo Central in the Senate.
