The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, have announced that they will be observing their training session on Friday, the 13th of January, at 2 pm local time, which is 3 pm Nigerian time.
This is in preparation for their opening Group A fixture at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, where they will be facing off against Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea.
The match is scheduled to take place at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium in Ebimpe, Abidjan, which is the capital city of Cote d’Ivoire.
The Super Eagles arrived in Abidjan on Wednesday to participate in the AFCON 2023 finals, and they have already undergone two training sessions to fine-tune their fitness levels and tactics.

The team’s manager, Jose Peseiro, is confident that his squad is well-prepared to put up a strong performance against their opponents on Sunday.
However, the training session on Friday and the first 15 minutes of Saturday’s session will be closed to the media and fans due to security reasons.
Nevertheless, the Super Eagles are looking forward to giving their best on the field and are hopeful of securing a victory over Nzalang Nacional in their opening match of the tournament.
