On Tuesday night, the head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates along with his assistants, to prepare for the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, a delegation of players and officials of the team flew out of Abuja.
Among them were the team’s captain, Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo and Olorunleke Ojo.
While some others took off from Lagos, the aforementioned players flew out of Abuja.

The Super Eagles will begin their preparations for the competition on Wednesday at their training base in Abu Dhabi, where they will spend a week before travelling to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON finals.
The three-time African champions are expected to arrive in Abidjan on Wednesday, January 10.
