During the Super Eagles’ training on Monday, the team’s duo of Victor Osimhen and Alhassan Yusuf were absent.
The players did show up at the training ground but were not allowed to participate in the session.
No official reason was given for their absence from the training, but sources say that Osimhen complained to the coaching crew immediately after the team’s bus arrived.
It is unclear what injury he sustained, and nothing is known about the extent of his injury.

The CRUX NEWS reports that the Super Eagles are scheduled to play against the host team, Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire, on Thursday at the Stade Olympique Alassan Ouattara Stadium.
According to Babafemi Raji, the Media Officer of the team, Osimhen and Yusuf’s absence from the training on Monday was just a precautionary measure.
