Nigeria Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon has denied rumours making the rounds that he died on Monday.
The news of Gowon’s death is currently trending on all social media platforms.
Reacting to the viral news, Gowon in a statement by his Personal Media Aide, Adeyeye E. Ajayi, on Monday night stated that he is not dead.
According to the Ajayi, Gowon said “I am still around and well. I am not in a hurry”.
