Governor Aiyedatiwa Leads Condolence Visit to Oluwatuyi’s Family
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has announced a three-day period of mourning and prayers from January 5th to January 7th, 2025, in tribute to the late Secretary to the State Government, Temitayo Oluwatuyi. This declaration was made during a condolence visit to Oluwatuyi’s family in Akure.
Tragic Loss After Road Accident
Temitayo Oluwatuyi passed away on Saturday at a hospital in Akure, where he was under treatment for injuries sustained in a car accident that occurred in December 2024.

Aiyedatiwa Praises Oluwatuyi’s Contributions
In his speech, Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted Oluwatuyi’s significant influence in Ondo State’s politics and governance, stating that the state’s history would be incomplete without recognizing his contributions. He described Oluwatuyi as an exemplary figure known for his gentlemanly conduct and humility in both public and private life.
Government Support Promised
Aiyedatiwa offered prayers for the peaceful repose of Oluwatuyi’s soul and assured the bereaved family that the state government would stand by them during this challenging period.
