The ongoing construction of the Blue Line Rail’s second phase was announced by Jubril Gawat, media aide to Sanwo-Olu, through his social media handle on Tuesday, April 16.
Gawat highlighted that the extension from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko will greatly benefit Lagos State University students and residents along the Lagos-Badagry axis.
He stated, “The Blue Line Rail Phase 2 Construction is already underway, a significant development for the Lagos-Badagry axis and LASU students.”
He added that this legacy project is expected to be completed before the current administration concludes.
