Irresistible Condensed Milk Bread
Condensed milk bread, a culinary gem that marries simplicity with indulgence, is a delight for the senses. This bread recipe transforms basic ingredients into a heavenly creation. The key lies in the addition of sweetened condensed milk, a luscious concoction of milk and sugar, which infuses the dough with a rich sweetness and a velvety texture.
The process begins by combining flour, yeast, salt, and a generous pour of condensed milk. The condensed milk not only imparts sweetness but also contributes to the bread’s moisture, creating a soft and tender crumb. The dough, after thorough kneading, undergoes a patient rise until it doubles in size, allowing the flavors to meld and intensify.
Once risen, the dough is shaped into a loaf or individual rolls, promising a variety of presentation possibilities. As the bread bakes, the kitchen is enveloped in a warm, sweet aroma that heightens anticipation. The result is a golden-brown exterior that gives way to a soft and slightly chewy interior.
Condensed milk bread can be enjoyed in various forms—sliced for sandwiches, toasted for breakfast, or savored on its own. The sweetness is balanced, making it a versatile companion to both sweet and savory toppings. Its ability to elevate traditional buttered toast to a new level of decadence makes it a favorite among those seeking a delightful departure from conventional bread options.
In every bite, the unique marriage of condensed milk and bread creates a symphony of flavors that dance on the taste buds. Condensed milk bread stands as a testament to the magic that unfolds when humble ingredients are thoughtfully combined, resulting in a baked masterpiece that captivates palates and brings joy to those fortunate enough to experience its delicious allure.

Procedure:
* Into a bowl, break in the egg, add sweetened condensed milk, warm milk, salt, and yeast. Mix well.
* Add in flour and mix to incorporate all the ingredients.
* Knead slightly and cover up. Leave to proof for 20mins
* After 20mins deflate the dough, add butter, and knead into the dough. (Knead on a floured surface) Kneading should take up to 10 minutes (the dough is properly kneaded when you poke on it and it bounces back)
* Place the dough in a bowl and cover the dough for an hour to poof (40minutes in a dark place and 20minutes in the fridge)
* After an hour bring out, deflate, and cut into six. Shape the cut-out into round balls.
* Cover the balls for 15 minutes.
* After 15 minutes, roll out each ball with a rolling pin until very flat.
* Flip the rolled-out balls and pinch the edges. Roll up into a log.
* Repeat the same process with the remaining balls.
* Place into a prepared baking pan.
* Cover for 50 minutes (30 minutes in a dark place and 20 minutes in the fridge)
