Sebastian Haller, the striker of Cote d’Ivoire, has recently stated that their team is determined to avenge their defeat to the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the group stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Elephants are set to face the Super Eagles in the final match of the tournament at the Alassanne Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday.
It is worth mentioning that Emerse Fae’s team fell 1-0 to the Super Eagles in the initial stage of the tournament.

However, Haller has vowed that the Elephants will leave no stone unturned to clinch the title this time around.
In an interview with BeIn SPORTS, Haller spoke about their upcoming match against Nigeria and their motivation to win the trophy in front of the Ivorian people.
He said, “We are playing the final against Nigeria. It is a great nation. It is heavy. They beat us in the group stage. But we are already motivated to go and lift the trophy on Sunday in this stadium in front of the Ivorian people. We have revenge to take on Nigeria.”
The final between Cote D’Ivoire and Nigeria is scheduled to kick off at 9 pm Nigerian time.
