This follows the earlier delivery of one million barrels. The refinery aims to produce diesel, aviation fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and premium motor spirit.

Experts anticipate that this development will contribute to Nigeria’s self-sufficiency in refined products, reduce fuel subsidies, and boost economic growth in the country and the West African region.
The refinery has a designed capacity of 350,000 barrels per day and is expected to meet 100% of Nigeria’s demand for refined products.
