Over 174 students at The Deeper Life High School have achieved remarkable success in the recently released Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), scoring above 300 marks.
The school proudly announced this achievement through a post on its official Facebook page @Deeper Life High School, showcasing the impressive performance of these students. Among them, Ayeyemi Godsgift Ibunkunoluwa stood out with the highest score of 362 marks.
Referring to the triumphant students as heroes and heroines, the school’s post celebrated their outstanding achievement. “Behold the DLHS 2024 UTME heroes and heroines; one hundred and seventy-four (174) students who scored 300 and above! Congratulations to the Champions,” the post exclaimed.
Additionally, the school highlighted the exceptional performance of its students compared to the national average, with only around 0.5% of candidates nationwide achieving scores of 300 and above in the 2024 UTME.
Master Oluwatumise Benjamin Oluwanifemi secured the second highest score from the school, with 356 marks, while Ogede Presley Angotualayefa followed closely with 354 marks, earning the third highest mark.
This achievement adds to the school’s track record of academic excellence, as it had previously produced the highest scorer in the 2023 UTME, further solidifying its reputation for nurturing top-performing students.

Meanwhile, amidst the celebrations, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board emphasized that the UTME is primarily a ranking examination and refrained from disclosing the names of the highest-scoring candidates. The board also cautioned against the circulation of printed result slips, highlighting that the results are not available in any paper format.
The remarkable performance of the Deeper Life High School students has garnered praise from Nigerians on social media platforms. Facebook users, including Thomas Ewa and Olumu Peace, extended their congratulations, emphasizing the role of godliness, discipline, and commitment in achieving such remarkable results.
