Ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, former Nigerian international, Alloy Agu, has offered some advice to the Super Eagles, stressing the need to avoid underestimating any team in Group A.
The Nigerian team has been drawn alongside Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, and Equatorial Guinea in the group stage of the competition.
Agu cautioned the Super Eagles not to take any game lightly, as the team’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stages may depend on their performance in every match.
Agu expressed his optimism about the team’s chances, stating that he was impressed with the hunger and determination displayed by the players during their friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
Agu emphasized that the players must give their all in every match and approach each game as a cup final.
