The Alake Golf Tournament, an annual event sponsored by Oando Plc, is set to be held from October 26 to October 28 at the Abeokuta Golf Club, Oke Mosan, Ogun state.
The tournament, which has been held for ten consecutive years, is organized in honour of the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Dr Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.
The tournament is expected to attract no fewer than 200 participants comprising skilled and amateur golfers from across the country.
In a statement by Steve Oma-Ofozor, the Media Officer, Oando Plc expressed the belief that sport is a powerful instrument that can foster national unity and drive positive change.
As such, the company is committed to promoting sportsmanship and community development through its sponsorship of the tournament.

The 2023 Alake Golf Tournament promises to be an exciting event that celebrates unity and camaraderie among golfers nationwide.
The tournament will feature three categories of competition: the Caddies’ Competition will kick off the event on October 26, followed by the Professionals’ Competition on October 27, and the Amateurs’ event will take place on October 28.
This year’s tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever before, with more participants expected to compete for the coveted prizes.
The Alake of Egbaland and other dignitaries are expected to grace the event, which will be a showcase of the best of Nigerian golf.
